Eyebolts and/or lifting trunnions supplied with the Bearing PB 18 IKO are designed to support only the weight of the Bearing PB 18 IKO, not the weight of the Bearing PB 18 IKO and any ancillary equipment attached to it. Be absolutely sure that cranes, jacks, slings and lifting beams are capable of carrying the weight of equipment to be lifted. Where an eyebolt is provided with the Bearing PB 18 IKO, this should be screwed down until its shoulder is firmly against the face of the stator frame to be lifted. Eyebolts are normally designed for a vertical lift. For eyebolt/lifting lug torques, see opposite.
